Harvard vs. Yale Postgame Press Conference
Postgame reaction from Harvard head coach Ted Donato and goaltender Kyle Richter after Harvard's 6-1 victory over Yale on February 22 at the Bright Hockey Center
Listen below:
ECAC Playoff Scenarios
Clarkson: 1-4. Clinched bye
Princeton: 1-6. Needs 2 points to clinch bye without help
Cornell: 1-8. Needs 5 points to clinch bye without help
Quinnipiac: 1-8. Needs 6 points to clinch bye without help
Harvard: 1-8. Needs 6 points to clinch bye without help
Union: 2-8
Yale: 3-8
Colgate: 3-9. Needs 2 points to clinch home ice without help
Brown: 8-12. Needs at least 5 points and help to clinch home ice
RPI: 8-12. Needs at least 6 points and help to clinch home ice
SLU: 9-12
Dartmouth: 9-12
Obviously the Crimson being in control of their own destiny is a good thing, and with the way Harvard has played over its last 6 games, these last three games (vs. Brown, @ Colgate, @ Cornell) are highly winnable. The Colgate/Cornell roadtrip is always difficult, but I like Harvard's chances in the ECAC.
Clarkson has clinched a bye and Princeton is verging on clinching. That leaves 2 first-round byes to Cornell, Quinnipiac, Harvard and Union. Unless Yale and Colgate can run the table, it'll be difficult for them to get back in the race at this point.
Tune in Saturday at 6:45pm for Harvard vs. Brown from the Bright Hockey Center. Nick Crowne and Ben Weintraub have the call on 95.3 FM WHRB, streaming live on the web at www.whrb.org

Off-topic but fun...
A couple weeks ago, I had the rare pleasure of interviewing Dolph Lundgren, he of Rocky IV, The Punisher, and an IQ of 158. Listen to it here or check our panel on the side for all our interviews.

As part of our sports orgy...
We present something just too big for the radio...
Last year, Boston sports channel NESN visited the WHRB studios for a feature on Top Shelf, the only show bold enough to take hockey players off the ice and into the studio. Beyond representing the biggest exposure we've ever received, it also gives you an opportunity to see what our studios and broadcasters look like. For the record, not all of us at WHRB have the fashion sense of alumnus Rick Goldberg.

WHRB Sports Orgy tonight! (Even more interesting than it sounds!)
From 5:30 to midnight tonight, WHRB Sports will be reviewing the semester in sports, including live coverage of Harvard's men's hockey game against Clarkson at 7:00. This marathon of sports coverage is called an orgy in WHRB parlance. I, of course, leave you to draw your own conclusions.
